What clients say.

Chris is great- very knowledgeable, motivating, and genuinely cares about helping you reach your goals. Every session is challenging but pitched at the right level. I've seen real progress since training with them and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a supportive and professional trainer.

Richard M.

After 3 years of training on my own at the gym, I decided the time had arrived to change things up. Having had two back operations I was wary of the switch to free weights so decided to go forward with a PT. I chose Chris as he specialises in functional fitness which is part of what I was hoping to improve. Chris is hugely knowledgeable, professional, and patient, but crucially is extremely good at getting those extra few reps out of me - if it isn't challenging me it isn't changing me! In five months my strength, mobility and general fitness have improved beyond my expectations. I look forward to continuing our collaborations going forward. Thank you Chris.

Andrew M.

Chris has made a positive impact on my training mindset. Training on your own is ok for a time but then you can get stuck, make 0 improvements and gains. I booked 10 sessions with Chris and they were a game changer, he gave me the tools and challenged me to push myself in and out of those sessions and gave me a new lease of life in the gym. As I was specifically training for a cycling event some months later, the sessions were tailored to help support that, and proved to make a massive difference in the event I did. I would certainly recommend Chris for personal training, extremely knowledgeable and a great coach.

Chris has been an amazing personal trainer. Full of enthusiasm and helped to show me the ropes.

Graeme H.

At the age of 51 Chris has helped me discover a real enjoyment of working out. Can't believe my favourite thing in the gym is doing deadlifts, the other benefits have been sleeping better and managing day to day stresses better.

Tracy B.

Chris is easy to get along with and knows what he's talking about and is patient with you when you don't understand something he will take his time to explain it to you.

Chris Cachia, personal trainer in Banbury, locking out a heavy barbell deadlift at PureGym Banbury

Coached properly. Progressive overload.

I'm Chris — coaching since 2012, training since childhood. Studied Sport and Exercise Management at Kent. Every programme is built on progressive overload tracked week to week, with proper nutritional guidance — macro targets that move as your bodyweight and goals change — and shaped around your body, your history, and what your week actually allows.

My goal isn't only to train you. It's to teach you to train safely, effectively, and independently — the skill to leave is the product. Fewer sessions over time, not more.

The honest answers.

What happens at the free consultation?

+

Around 20 minutes at PureGym Banbury, free, no commitment. We talk through your goals and availability, I take any extra detail I need to build the right plan, and you ask me anything before you decide. No sales pitch — if we're not a good fit, I'll say so.

I haven't trained in years — will this work for me?

+

Yes — this is exactly who the coaching is built for. Your mobility, injury history, and movement quality decide what you do, not a template. The first phase is form-heavy rather than load-heavy, and we start from your baseline. No fitness required to begin, just commitment. Complete beginners are welcome on the same basis.

What are the block terms?

+

10-session blocks expire 3 months from purchase, with one extension of up to 4 weeks available per block on request. Cancellations with 24+ hours notice can be rescheduled within the block window; under 24 hours, the session is forfeited. The full agreement is in the terms.

Can I switch to online coaching later?

+

That's the design. Clients can graduate to online coaching (£150/month) once their form and habits are locked in — or stay in-person as long as it works for them. The whole arc is in-person, to greater independence, to online, to on your own.
